Art & Design Minimum requirements for admission

To apply for the MFA in Studio Arts or Design or the MA and PhD in Art Education:

• Complete the online Graduate School Application.

• Follow application instructions for appropriate degree:

The Division of Art and Design is currently "NOT" accepting new students for the Master of Arts (MA) or PhD in Art Education.

Applicants to the Ph.D. in Art Education should also      contact the College of Education.

• To apply for a teaching assistantship, complete the      Teaching Assistantship Application.

Art & Design Application Deadlines: March 1

March 1 is the Division of Art and Design deadline for receipt of completed applications for priority consideration for teaching assistantships for FALL entry.

Applications for the Spring semester accepted only by permission of area faculty and the graduate director.

The final application deadline is the same as Graduate School deadlines. Only a limited number of admissions may be granted to applications submitted after March 1.
